TxMQ Staffing Solutions is seeking Junior Recruiters to join our IT Recruiting team!

This exciting opportunity would consist of recruiting, interviewing, and placing IT professionals in direct hire and contract positions with our clients. We’re seeking candidates with a sales background who have a strong desire to advance their career, or that would like to start down a new career path.

TxMQ Staffing recruiters receive a base salary, plus one of the best commission plans and benefit packages in the business.


  • Provide complete lifecycle recruiting for IT positions and support recruiting in other functional areas as needed.
  • Source passive and active candidates in targeted areas utilizing creative resources and techniques (e.g., networking, social media tools, websites, referrals, advertising). Maintain relationships with candidates to connect applicants with our client’s current needs and future opportunities.
  • Evaluate applicant resumes, pre-screen applicants, and coordinate interviews with the account representatives.
  • Negotiate with and communicate offers to successful candidates.
  • Keep key stakeholders abreast of progress against requirements and update internal applicant tracking system.
  • Ensure positive applicant experience throughout the hiring process.

Skills Required:

  • Self-driven person taking initiative and ownership of the hiring needs in an area.
  • Knowledge of creative sourcing and marketing techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent recruiting tasks and prioritize tasks based on competing demands. Also, the ability to be flexible and resilient with changing demands.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new recruiting technologies – applicant tracking systems, reporting tools, sourcing tools, etc., and also proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Great attitude and team player.


  • 2+ years of sales (inside or outside) experience, including cold calling.
  • Excellent telephone personality, and comfort making outbound calls to candidates.
  • ‘Detective’ like skills to find candidates across the interwebs.
  • Tenacity, stick-to-itiveness, and passion for success.
  • Retains a current and well-developed social media network, using most current social media channels.
